Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for the TKO victory in the second round. She remained dominant as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. She fought her first big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
