She was born March 29th 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her birth name. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is American and has Mexican-American heritage. Ever since she was young, she's been very keen on playing sports. Gerina was a golfer in her first game at age 15. Gerina graduated from high school studies in Goddard High School. In high school she won New Mexico's state golf championship. She also played volleyball at the state level. She went to an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. In her senior year she took home every single tournament she entered. During the undergraduate years, she was awarded as the conference's best player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
